Fogarty Creek is designated as a Marine Conservation Area (MCA) to protect plants and wildlife while encouraging enjoyment of the area.

At Fogarty Creek MCA there is no take of shellfish and other invertebrates in the intertidal or subtidal zones, and no take of fish from a boat.  The collection of kelps and seaweeds is subject to coastwide ocean shore regulations in intertidal areas and prohibited in subtidal waters.

 

The marine conservation area is located approximately two miles north of Depoe Bay in Lincoln County, Oregon. (OAR 141-142-0165).
